Druk Path Trek- 9 Days

Trip Overview

Bhutan is a small, landlocked country nestled in the lap of the eastern Himalayas. It is bordered by Tibet to the north and India to the south. This pristine nation is renowned for its breathtaking natural beauty, rich cultural legacy, and diverse wildlife. Dominated by Buddhist traditions, Bhutan is a sanctuary of ancient monasteries and a peaceful way of life embraced by its people.

The Druk Path Trek perfectly blends serene landscapes and vibrant culture, making it an ideal choice for travelers seeking to immerse themselves in this extraordinary land of peace and happiness within a short span of time.

During the journey, you’ll discover the countryside, majestic mountains, alpine meadows, glacial lakes, and sacred monasteries. The trek begins with a hike to the ancient Jeli Dzong, perched high above Paro Valley, offering spectacular views of Mount Chomolhari. Over the next few days, the route winds above and below the tree line, passing yak herder camps beside crystal-clear lakes, and offering sweeping vistas of Bhutan’s northern frontier, including peaks like J Drek and Jiang Jia Road. You’ll also visit the iconic Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest) and explore Tashichho Dzong in Thimphu.
