In Kathmandu, breakfast is included. During the trek, you will receive three meals a day. Breakfast and dinner are served at the teahouse where you stay, while lunch is taken at stops along the route. Due to the remoteness of the region, food options are simple but clean, fresh, and nutritious. Common meals include traditional Nepali dal bhat, Tibetan soups, bread, porridge, and similar items.
Trip Briefing
Before the trek begins, you will attend a detailed briefing session. During this, you’ll receive essential information about the journey, be provided with relevant documents, and meet your trekking guide.
Trekking Team
Your trek will be supported by experienced, government-licensed guides who are fluent in English and trained in responsible and eco-friendly tourism practices.
An assistant guide will also accompany the group to provide additional support when needed. Porters are assigned at a ratio of one porter for every two trekkers, carrying a maximum load of 25 kg.
All crew members are insured to ensure their safety and well-being.

Upon successful completion of the trek, you will receive an official trekking certificate from Adventure Aspirant Pvt Ltd as a memento of your achievement.
Group Size
Group sizes typically range from 2 to 10 participants. Solo travelers are also welcome, and arrangements can be customized accordingly. If you are traveling in a larger group (more than 10 people), plans and itineraries can be adjusted to better suit your needs.
Acclimatization
Trekking in the Everest region is both physically demanding and technically challenging. Special attention is given to proper acclimatization to help your body adapt to high altitudes.
The itinerary is carefully designed with rest days and gradual elevation gains. The team is experienced in identifying the right pace and rest points. In case of altitude-related issues, the crew is trained to respond quickly and effectively.
Managing Altitude Sickness
To minimize risks related to altitude sickness, consider the following:
Carry a personal first aid kit
Consult your doctor before the trek
Inform your guide immediately if you feel unwell
Stay close to your group for mutual support
Travel Insurance
It is highly recommended to have comprehensive travel insurance for this trek. The policy should cover high-altitude trekking, emergency medical treatment, helicopter evacuation, trip cancellations, and loss or theft of belongings.
Given the challenging nature of the route, having proper insurance ensures peace of mind throughout the journey.
Permits and Entry Fees
Various permits and entry fees are required for trekking in protected areas such as national parks and heritage zones. These costs are already included in the overall package.
Flight Delays (Kathmandu – Lukla – Kathmandu)
Flights between Kathmandu and Lukla are usually operated by small aircraft such as Twin Otter and Dornier. While generally reliable, delays or cancellations can occur due to weather conditions or technical reasons.
In such cases, Adventure Aspirant Pvt Ltd can arrange a helicopter charter to help maintain your travel schedule. Helicopters can operate under lower visibility conditions compared to airplanes, making them a useful alternative.
The cost of helicopter service ranges approximately from USD 500 to USD 3500 per person, depending on group size. Payment can be made at the Kathmandu office using cash, traveler’s cheques, or major credit cards (Visa or MasterCard). A receipt will be provided for insurance claims.
Extra Days Recommendation
It is strongly advised to arrive in Kathmandu at least one day before your trek begins. This allows time for rest and last-minute gear preparation.
Additionally, keeping a few extra days after your trek is wise, as flights to and from Lukla are weather-dependent and may be delayed. This helps ensure you do not miss your international departure.
If you’re planning to book a trekking package with Adventure Aspirant Pvt Ltd and are unsure about what to pack, we’re happy to provide a helpful checklist for your journey. You can adjust this list according to your personal needs and preferences. If you’re unable to find certain items in your home country or are short on time before arriving in Kathmandu, most trekking gear is easily available for purchase in the city.
During the trek, porters will carry the majority of your things. One porter is assigned for every two trekkers and will carry up to 25 kg in total. Therefore, it’s important to pack wisely and keep your load within limits.
For domestic flights, the baggage allowance is 15 kg per person. Any extra belongings not required during the trek can be safely stored at your hotel in Kathmandu at no additional charge.
