Luxury Annapurna Circuit Trek – A Premium Adventure in Nepal’s Himalayan Heartland
The Luxury Annapurna Circuit Trek in central Nepal is among the world’s most iconic trekking journeys, known for its diverse landscapes, rich cultural encounters, and exhilarating high-altitude adventure. Encircling the majestic Annapurna Massif, this classic trail offers an immersive experience through lush forests, terraced hillsides, arid highlands, and sacred mountain passes — all while engaging deeply with the region’s varied heritage and traditions.
This rewarding expedition begins with a scenic drive from Kathmandu, Nepal’s vibrant capital, where you’ll spend a day soaking in its ancient history, temples, and architectural wonders. The overland journey to Besisahar and onward to Chame — the administrative center of Manang District — kicks off your trekking adventure.
The trail then winds through stunning Himalayan terrain and picturesque villages like Pisang, Ghyaru, Ngawal, Manang, Letdar, and Thorung Phedi, before reaching the awe-inspiring Thorung La Pass at 5,416 meters — the highest point of the trek. From there, the route descends to the sacred temple town of Muktinath, revered by both Buddhists and Hindus, before concluding in Jomsom. A short but scenic flight takes you to Pokhara, Nepal’s lake city, to relax and enjoy the serene mountain views and laid-back atmosphere.
Along this incredible route, trekkers traverse two major river valleys — the Marsyangdi and Kali Gandaki, explore Lamjung, Manang, and Mustang districts, and discover the intersection of Bon, Hindu, and Buddhist spiritual traditions. You’ll also enjoy magnificent views of Himalayan giants like Annapurna II, Gangapurna, and Dhaulagiri (8,167m), the world’s seventh-highest peak.
