The trail ascends through lush rhododendron and oak forests, cascading waterfalls, and traditional Tamang villages. You’ll pass through Mulkharka, a quaint hillside settlement, and continue along forested ridges that offer scenic views of the Kathmandu Valley below. Overnight stay at a local mountain lodge.
Day 02: Trek from Chisapani to Kutumsang (2,470 meters)
After a peaceful night in Chisapani, begin your trek with a descent through dense woodlands and peaceful farmlands. Cross through picturesque settlements such as Gul Bhanjyang and Pati Bhanjyang, where you can observe the traditional lifestyles of the hill communities.

You’ll arrive at Tharepati, one of the highest points on the Helambu trail, after about 5 hours of trekking.
